Growth Partnerships
You've built a sound business. Now you want help to grow it, without taking on another full monthly fee.
I work with founders for an agreed equity stake, a share of revenue growth, or a mix of both. We agree my role, your goals and how I earn my share before work starts.
I've built and sold three businesses of my own and worked with more than 100 founders since 2016.

The problem
Sales need your input. Good leads slip through the gaps. Your team works hard, but the same problems keep coming back.
You can see room to grow. Finding the time to fix what holds you back is the hard part.
I work with you and your team to find those gaps, choose what to fix first and see the work through.
The two models
The right model depends on your goals, cash flow and the work involved. We agree the terms before either of us commits.
For founders who want a lasting partner and are open to sharing ownership.
I earn a minority stake, usually 5% to 15%, over two to three years as I meet agreed milestones. You keep control.
We agree my role, time, milestones and what happens if either of us wants to leave. The terms include how any share buyback would work.
For founders who want to keep all their shares and link my fee to revenue growth.
We agree a revenue baseline before work starts. I earn 10% of revenue above that baseline for 24 months.
We use your accounts, review results each quarter and agree a cap up front. If revenue does not rise above the agreed baseline, no revenue share is due.
For example, £20,000 above the baseline in a quarter means a £2,000 share, subject to our agreed terms and cap.
We can also discuss a smaller stake or revenue share alongside a reduced cash fee.
Why this model
More sales are only useful if they make the business stronger.
Before we agree a revenue share, we look at your margins and the cost of growth. The aim is to leave you with more profit after my share and the costs of the work.
For equity, we agree milestones that reflect lasting value in the business.
Either way, you should know what success means and how we will measure it.
What you get
We agree how many days a month I give your business and put that in writing.
I lead the agreed growth work with you. That includes the plan, systems, reporting and follow through. Your team runs the day to day work.
Before you commit, we agree what your team will need to deliver and identify any spend on tools or outside help. You can assess the whole plan.
The first conversation and Revenue Truth Diagnostic are free. You can use them to judge whether the opportunity and the fit are right.
My experience
Since 2007, I've built and sold three businesses of my own. I know the weight of making decisions when your money, team and name are on the line.
Since 2016, I've helped more than 100 founders find gaps in how their businesses win and keep revenue. My longest partnership ran for seven years.
I look across marketing, sales, operations, finance and people. Then I work with you to put the changes into practice.
Who it suits
I'm looking to work with founders in B2B services, health, wellness and leisure.
Your business will usually have annual revenue of £500,000 to £5 million. It is profitable, or has a clear path to profit, with room to grow and a team able to carry out the work.
You plan to stay and lead for at least three more years. You're willing to share the numbers, make changes and hear a view that may differ from your own.
This work needs a sound business to build on. If you need cash to keep trading, this offer will not meet that need.

How it starts
A free first conversation about your business, goals and what feels stuck. We both decide whether it is worth a closer look.
The free Revenue Truth Diagnostic looks across your business. We assess the room to grow and what the work would need.
My role, time, share, milestones, costs and exit terms are set out in writing. You have time to review them and take advice.
We start with the agreed priorities and review progress together. You can see what is being done and how it is performing.
FAQs
The equity model uses a minority stake. Your control and my rights are set out in the agreement before you commit. With revenue share, you keep all your shares.
We agree that before we start. For equity, the terms cover shares earned, leaving and any buyback. For revenue share, they cover when payments end and whether any remain due.
Yes. If the business grows well, my return could be higher. You should weigh that against a fixed fee, the cash you would pay up front and the work involved.
We review your accounts and agree the starting point in writing. We define how seasonal sales, refunds, VAT and work already in the pipeline will be treated.
Yes. The first conversation and Revenue Truth Diagnostic are free. Any later stake, revenue share or cash fee is agreed before paid work starts.
It could lead to a separate conversation if that suits us both. A growth partnership does not commit you to selling your business.
